huggie kits?

Thanks so much for all your assistance with the labels. Almost everyone said sticking out...there you go!
So now it's onto my next issue...

POSTAGE!!

Can you believe that one of these huggies costs almost $9 to send overseas! It only weighs 17 grams!!...$8.50!!?? All because it is just over 2cm in thickness
(not if you squish it down mind you - but they won't stay squished down)

So I have been thinking about alternatives to this Australia Post highway robbery...I could vac-pac them but ...really, that's just not going to happen! I thought, perhaps kits that contain my linocut printed fabric swatches, matched vintage fabrics, thread and trim?

Something along these lines (only packaged properly)... (other linocut designs might follow?)

(Again...sorry for the photography. I keep forgetting to take shots during the day and have to make do last minute.)

...with polyfil, embroidery needles, and sewing machine (if desired) needing to be provided.

All a bit new for me...is there any point?
What do you think?

Yes, kits would be a great idea! I want one, but nobody wants to post office to rob them. Making one from you selected ingredients sounds like a good compromise, plus it would be fun.

This is so cool! I wanted to let you know that I recently posted a recap of the Stitch indie craft bazaar in Austin, Texas. I am also hosting a swag bag giveaway. I'd love for you to enter & to pass the word on to your friends!
Cheers,
