ballerinas and fairies

Hubby-j put in a request...

Actually...

it went something like this...

Do you ever draw...um..."something"? I mean...can you do that? Draw "something"...instead of...um...nothing? (*frown* - it's lucky I know he didn't mean that the way it sounded!)

This coincided with the girl asking me to draw her something to colour in one afternoon.

So this is what I ended up with

I drew a second one for myself and we set to colouring them in
(or rubbing her face off with water and a brush...gorgeous!)

I need some practise and you can see I have muddled my ballerinas with my fairies but I think she turned out OK (I like the head of the first and the skirt of the second). The girl seemed to like her anyway.

(hubby-j managed to redeem himself by saying she looked like a "storybook" character! - *smile* )
