muesli tuesday

A batch of hubby-j's favourite brekky cereal

Recipe from here - a loose mixture of both

Additions this time round - (definately NOT the diet version!)

  • 2 cups of coconut chips
  • 1 cup of banana chips
  • extra dates
  • dried cranberries and dried cherries
  • less sultanas
  • 100g macadamias
  • 1 cup of pepitas
  • 2 cups of rolled rye (6 cups of oats makes 8 cups grains total)
  • 2-3 extra cups of mixed raw nuts
  • less oil, less honey and no carob or flax

Whew! - I think that is most of the modifications (roughly anyway)

I don't know why I pull out the book each time because I change it so much it is ridiculous.
